Beautiful Beginnings: Meets the first Saturday of every quarter, 11:00-12:00, Yost Family Chiropractic, 8521 Hickman in Urbandale. An informative class for new parents.

Des Moines Babywearing : Day meeting: Meets the last Tuesday of every month, 10:00, Vineyard Church, 3615 University Ave. (Vineyard shares a building with Redeemer Lutheran. From University, turn North on 37th. The parking lot is to the right. Drive across the parking lot and you'll see the signs pointing to the Vineyard Entrance on the East side of the building.) Evening meeting: Meets the last Tuesday of every month, 6:30 pm, Willowsong Clinic, 733 19th Street, upstairs.

Greendrinks: Meets the last Thursday of every month, 6:00-8:00 PM, Raccoon River Brewery. It is an opportunity for people who work in the environmental field to meet up for a beer, wine or drink of your choice, at an informal gathering to network.

Holistic Moms Network: Meets the third Wednesday of every month, 6:30, Central Library.

HMN Playgroup: Meets every week on Fridays at 10:00 am, locations vary. Contact Betsy for locations.

ICAN (International Cesearean Awareness Network): Meets the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 PM business meeting, 8:00 support group, Urbandale Library Meeting Room.

La Leche League: Meets the first Thursday of each month, 7 PM, Ashworth Road Baptist Church, 5300 Ashworth Road, in West Des Moines. Also meets the second Friday of each month, 10:00 AM, West Des Moines United Methodist Church, 720 Grand Ave.

The LLL of Des Moines toddler meeting is on the third Tuesday of the month at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church on 8th and Grand at 10 AM.

Mommy and Me: Meets the first Wednesday of every month, 12:15-1:00, Yost Family Chiropractic, 8521 Hickman in Urbandale. Learn new parenting topics every month, weigh your baby, meet other mommies!
